Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026

1. Who we are

Tessera is a software studio run by two sole proprietorships — one in Poland and one in Kazakhstan (details below). Together they are the controller of the personal data you send us through this website. For any privacy question, write to sales@wearetessera.dev.

2. What data we collect

Only what you give us in the contact form: your name, the contact you provide (Telegram, email or phone) and your message about the task. Providing this data is voluntary, but without it we can’t reply. We do not ask for and do not need any special-category data. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (e.g. IP address, request time) for security.

3. Why we process it and on what basis

Solely to reply to your enquiry and discuss possible work. Under the GDPR the legal bases are your consent (Art. 6(1)(a), given when you submit the form) and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell it.

4. Who we share it with

Your message reaches our team over email and Telegram, so it is transmitted through those providers. The website is hosted on Vercel. These providers act as processors/infrastructure. We do not pass your data to anyone else and do not sell it.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where that happens, the transfer relies on legally recognised safeguards — primarily the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your message for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting work, and then delete it on request or when it is no longer needed.

7. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Only team members who need it for their work have access to your enquiries.

8. Cookies

The site uses only technical cookies necessary for it to work. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access your data and get a copy, correct inaccurate data, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive your data in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time — just write to sales@wearetessera.dev. Under the EU GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland — the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO). In Kazakhstan you have the rights granted by the Law “On Personal Data and Their Protection”.

10. Automated decisions and children

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing and do not carry out profiling. The website and our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above always shows the current version.
