BrainPatch neuro-headset: from hardware to clinical validation
Involved at every layer: hardware and firmware, stable headset-to-app connectivity, and a placebo-controlled study that confirmed the effect.
The context
Launching a neuro-headset that actually works is more than an app. The device itself, the firmware and the connection have to be made stable, and the effect has to be proven with data, not just claimed.
The idea
We got involved at every layer: helped with the device and firmware, built a stable BLE connection between the headset and the app, assembled the app with stimulation programs — and helped run a placebo-controlled study to establish the effect scientifically.
One chain — from hardware to the clinic
Hardware and firmware
We took part in the device and firmware itself — so the headset works reliably, not just in the lab.
Headset-to-app connectivity
A reliable BLE channel, auto-reconnect and signal-quality control — so nothing drops mid-session.
The app
iOS and Android: stimulation and meditation programs, session control and progress.
Scientific validation
We helped run a placebo-controlled study to confirm the device’s effect with data.
We closed the whole chain — from hardware and firmware to the app — and confirmed the effect with a placebo-controlled study. The headset shipped on iOS and Android.
